Born and raised in Imphal, Manipur, she has emerged as one of the leading young voices of traditional Meitei folk music, captivating audiences with her soulful performances, graceful stage presence, and deep commitment to cultural preservation.
Blending authentic folk traditions with contemporary presentation, Benita has represented the cultural identity of Northeast India on prestigious national and international platforms.
